CARMINIS is my sole proprietorship, started by me, Carmen.
Though my studies and professional background is in finance, I always loved working with flowers. Over time, I expanded my hobby of drying flowers from my favorite flower farms in Aargau and my own garden into carefully crafting handmade wooden arrangements of dried flowers. This process became a source of joy, concentration and creative fulfillment for me.
My Mission is to create long-lasting, high-quality arrangements that capture the essence of nature, bringing uplifting energy to any space. Each piece is handcrafted by me using local, chemical-free materials, so that every arrangement can be cherished in its most natural form.
My whole family is the one who inspire me everyday to work with care and give me good energy and positivism.
The word ‘Carminis’ means SONG or POEM in Latin. Creating my flower compositions is like composing a song or a poem, because each flower has to perfectly fit and harmonize with the others. Since my school days in Spain, when I first studied Latin in 7th grade, I’ve been fascinated by the connection between Carmen, and Carminis, and by the beauty of its meaning.
The most rewarding part of this journey has been the support of my family and friends, and the opportunity to meet so many talented, creative entrepreneurs who follow their dreams and have the COURAGE to TRY!.
